Hi, friend! I’m so glad that you’re here, & I mean that! 

I’m Julyla (July-la), your photographer, best friend, shoulder to lean on, smile to share kind of girl! Thank you so much for being here and letting me in on sweet moments taking place in your life.

I began my photography journey in 2022, during a social media cleanse. I picked up a camera and shortly after, my church reached out to me to photograph an event for them… it was at this event I was drawn in for more than aesthetic. One moment in time, a simple photograph had completely resonated with me deeper than any other photo I had taken at this point (see image below). This photo had absolutely ZERO to do with lighting or composition, but entirely in the heart I saw in this kind couple, my sweet friends. This couple was serving their community, with a smile, and with joy. It was a moment in time where I didn’t need to pose or direct anyone, it was a pure moment that was untouched. I love that. What’s even better, I’m able to photograph that moment, and show that exact moment to them!! They may not have seen how I saw them from my perspective, but with a click of a button, the snap of the shutter, an image comes close. 

WOO! OKAY! OOY GOOEY MOMENTS OVER haha, but seriously, I love what I do. Weddings and couples are my absolute favorite, as I love the symbolism of two people becoming one. I love the atmosphere of unity a marriage creates, and the small, in between moments that just go by too fast. 

I’ve been a born again Christian since 2018, and this is the foundation, the very heartbeat of my business. I have come to realize that I am of no use at all, if not used for Christ. So this is entirely His <3
